HeyCC
Recurring task workflow

A schedule needs a failure policy.

HeyCC can configure scheduled or recurring tasks, but iOS background execution is not an exact-time guarantee. A dependable task defines its timezone, required inputs, output destination, notification behavior, missed-run policy and stop rule.

A HeyCC task moving through a visible execution workflow

DefineTimezone, cadence, task, destination and stop rule.

Test firstRun the same instructions manually once.

System limitsPower, network, notification and background scheduling.

Reusable prompt

Draft a recurring task for [job]. Timezone: [zone]. Cadence: [schedule]. Inputs: [sources]. Output: [destination]. If the device is offline or a run is missed, [skip / notify / run later]. Do not enable it yet. First show the next three planned run times, required permissions, and how to stop it.

Workflow

  1. Specify timezone, cadence, required input and output destination.
  2. Define network, permission and missed-run behavior.
  3. Review the next planned run and the full task instructions.
  4. Run the task manually once and inspect the result.
  5. Enable recurrence, monitor the first runs and retain a stop path.

Expected deliverable

A schedule definition, next-run preview, permission checklist, result location and documented response to missed or failed runs. Background execution can be delayed or prevented by the operating system.

Do not promise exact-to-the-second execution or unconditional operation while the app is closed.

Questions

Will a recurring task run at the exact second?

Do not assume that. iOS background scheduling, power, network and permissions can affect timing.

Will it always run when the app is closed?

No unconditional guarantee should be made; actual execution is subject to operating-system constraints.

What should happen after a missed run?

Choose explicitly whether to skip, notify or run later, then verify the behavior on the target build.
